The Tacoma Highland Games Association is regrettably announcing the cancellation of the 51St Annual Tacoma Games that were to be held on June 26, 2021. Washington’s Roadmap to Recovery has not yet defined gatherings beyond Phase 2 and unfortunately, Phase 2 restricts outdoor gatherings to a degree that we are unable to host the Games. To #savetacomagames we had to consider not only the health and welfare of our patrons, competitors, volunteers, and guests but also speculate as to when the vaccine will be available to all and how gatherings in Phase 3 and beyond will be defined. This drew us to the inevitable conclusion that we must cancel the event for another year.

The Tacoma Highland Association would like to send out a special thank you to everybody that participated in and tuned into the first ever Dance, Pipe, and Drum Mini Games over the weekend!
This inaugural event was a great success and served as the first LIVE Stream Event for the organization, with more to come!
